Your County Needs You!
Loyalty, pride and love of your county form the basis of The Kerry Pledge.
The Kerry Convention Bureau, Kerry County Council and Fáilte Ireland have joined forces to muster the troops and mobilise Kerry people all over the world to help promote the Kingdom.
Kerry people everywhere are invited to sign the Pledge - a declaration of their devotion to their county. By signing it they are agreeing to promote and sell the county of Kerry at both business and social levels, to business colleagues, family, friends and acquaintances.
Kerry people in all walks of life be it industry, research and development, tourism, agriculture, finance, medicine, politics, fashion, sport and academia are requested to pledge their allegiance and be ambassadors for their home county.
The concept is simple, wherever you go take a moment to share a little of Kerry with the people you meet. It is hoped that people from all walks of life, who have a love for or affiliation with Kerry, will come onboard and we anticipate that the Kerry Diaspora will have a particular connection to this initiative.
By signing the Kerry Pledge you will get quarterly e-zines with the latest news from around the county, up-to-date information on festivals and events taking place, new business and appointments. You will have the opportunity to network and share experiences with other Kerry Pledge members and access practical advice and support, as well as joining your fellow Pledge Members at exclusive social and networking events held at various venues throughout the year.
In turn if a Kerry Pledge member needs advice on how to encourage a conference, event or leisure group to come to Kerry they have access to the most experienced tourism professionals through the Kerry Convention Bureau who will be on hand to offer guidance and advice as well as Fáilte Ireland who maybe able to provide financial support and advice through their Ambassador Programme.
