Killarney Meetings

Lakeview House & Estate is a spectacular and very private heritage Mansion and Estate directly on the Lakes of Killarney, overlooking the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks mountain range and the Killarney National Park.

Described in an 1890 poem as “a Foretaste of Heaven”, this is a stunning hidden gem in an area of unique natural beauty – a magical venue that your guests will never forget.

We offer flexible options for world class individually tailored corporate events. From intimate dinners or off-sites in the Dining Room for 12 to 40 guests, drinks receptions in the Main Hall for up to 50 guests to 4 differently themed outside marquee spaces for you to host an unforgettable Gala Dinner event for 100 to 250 guests (The Orchard, The Air Field, The Wild Flower Meadow and The Cobbled Stable Yard).

Although the Estate is hidden away, all of Killarney’s restaurants, bars and world class hotels are within a 10 minute drive. Access is available by coach through the elegant cast iron entrance gates and up a private drive, lined by ancient beech trees and looking out over fields and mountains. For a more dramatic entrance, we can accommodate helicopter landings or arrival by a fleet of boats to the Estate’s jetty.

With a working Whiskey business onsite making the award winning super premium Liberator and Lakeview Single Estate Whiskeys, we can also offer small scale VVIP tour experiences up to larger tasting events, both on and offsite.

The owners, the O’Connell family, have been connected to this land for 900 years and have a wealth of stories of ancestors including traders and warriors, poets and smugglers, and Ireland’s most famous son, Daniel O’Connell, ‘The Liberator’.

Additionally the whole House, sleeping up to 10 guests, is available for weekly rental.
