Getting Around

Once you have arrived, getting around Kerry couldn’t be easier. The region has a modern road network in place and within the main towns, the destinations are so compact that in the most part, hotels, meeting spaces, bars, restaurants and shops will all be within walking distance.

It means that once your delegates are in region, you will only require a minimal amount of transport organisation for your event as a result.

For social programme transfer and touring options, our member coach company, Kerry Coaches can facilitate all your needs from large coaches to chauffeur services.

Within Killarney, the town itself is surrounded by approximately 26,000 acres of National Park which is accessible via many different entrances. Many of our member hotels are located within the heart of the town with the remainder on the outskirts just a short drive away.

Killarney Convention Centre is a five-minute drive or 15-minute walk from the centre and offers 500 bedrooms on site, with an additional 2,000 rooms available within a 2km radius.

In Tralee, the hotel, meeting and social programme venues are all located within close proximity of the town centre.

In the smaller locations of Kenmare, Sneem and Dingle, our member properties are located within easy access of the town/village centres.

For modes of transport with a difference, a fleet of bicycles, open top big red buses or vintage cars can be arranged or within Killarney, why not have your delegates travel in traditional style with horse drawn jaunting cars available to facilitate short trips from hotels and the Convention Centre for social programme elements such as dinners or entertainment.
